vote Diggit kills Cookies
I'm not very good at coming up with what to claim as should I get fingered. I guess I'm not a very good liar. Scotsman?

About 5 hours left to make a decision. Wait, what??? Don't we have until Friday?!? Doh! I'm too sleep deprived. It does end on Friday. If it make you feel better, I panicked the other Night folks, too.

Certainly I agree that Diggit should be the killer.
As to target, why Cookies? If we're going for lurkers, Hawkeyeop and Pollux Oil have both been quieter than Cookies. Hell, I forgot Hawkeyeop was even playing the game!
I also still think MHaye is a viable target.
Perhaps we can narrow down to 2-3 choices, then do a post review of each? I'm happy to do a review of anyone.

Also, Diggit, you could claim Vig, right? Of course, you'll need to think of some good reason you were convinced enough that Roosh was scum to kill him.

Pollux Oil has pretty much sunk into himself after some early low-level suspicions. That means possible good role to me.
I don't really have any reads, but wanted to post my apologies for missing last Night - real life complications. Wedding in a week and a half for a close friend, after that, my schedule should be much clearer.

Pollux Oil's suspicion at first was for...lurking. I'm not sure if he's acting inconsistently. Hawkeyeop, on the other hand, might be a consideration.

Pollux Oil's suspicion at first was for...lurking. I'm not sure if he's acting inconsistently. Hawkeyeop, on the other hand, might be a consideration. OK, so I just did a review of Hawkeye's posts, and there is not much there: 17 total posts, and some of those are junk (like when he voted for himself). So definitely a lurker. On the other hand, I found this shortly after Nanook claimed: "I highly doubt Nanook is lying. Each scum group has too many enemies in this game for it to be worth it to throw one overboard to idenify a witch. Let's say he was wolf. His claim would hurt the wolves (as he would get found out sooner rather than later), slightly hinder the town, really help the cabal, and help the undead. This just isn't a good tradeoff. I suppose is possible that he is cabal trying to out a witch, However, the witches would already know who he was then, and could probably deal with him on their own." To me, this probably eliminates Hawk as a Witch candidate. I mean, obviously the Witches are going to come out too strongly against a false claim for fear of outing themselves, but I doubt they would post something like this. So, I think we should take Hawk off the kill list for now.

After looking at Hawk, I decided to check through the posts after Nanook claimed Witch to see what I could find in terms of clues. Here's what I found:
Hockey Monkey said: "I wouldn't have expected a real witch to claim truthfully on the first Day. Just like we were discussing with the mass role claims, the real witches need to stay hidden for as long as possible. So color me incredulous that a real witch would just say so on Day One. Something smells fishy to me."
And she did not immediately unvote, either. She later unvoted with this post: "peekercpa, that makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. A witch is absolutely the worst thing someone could false claim, because ALL the scum factions want the witches dead. Nanook just painted a giant bullseye on his back if he's not a real witch that could be protected by the other witches."
And then she says this, about protector roles and Nanook: "The witches have the capability to protect him. NO OTHER PROTECTORS IF ANY EXIST SHOULD PROTECT HIM. If he is really a witch, they will take care of him."
This makes a lot of sense to post if she is a Witch, as she will be hoping that another scum faction will take a shot at him.
It ain't much, I admit, but it's enough for me.

I like that thinking. Cookies said some things early on in the game that I didn't like, but not since them

I can always go back to my original vote if we don't have enough by crunch time tomorrow.

Diggit, have you decided on a claim plan yet? It might be good if you can give us a preview to see if there's any way we can help. CIAS is going to be all over you.

Errr...something that just occurred to me -- is there a blocker role that we're aware of? It's an obvious move that we'd send Diggit to kill tonight, so can anyone hamstring him that we're aware of? (Sorry...don't have the ruleset in front of me)

(Sorry...don't have the ruleset in front of me) Yes, the Cabal can block any one player each night. But I think we need to take the risk on that. The alternative is leaving another Wolf open to Cat's investigation, which is far riskier, IMO.

And honestly, it's in the Cabal's best interest NOT to block kills at this point unless they suspect they'll be on the receiving end of one.
