I'm reluctant to go after storyteller when he hasn't been participating. Perhaps NAF? See, here's where I disagree. Storyteller knows he's a target, so if he's hanging back intentionally - which I think he is - that means he's trying to stay off the radar. This means to me that he's more likely than not a role we'd like to get.

Arright...I'd prefer Redwing, but knocking off story is probably the next best bet. I'm down with it.

That's four of you, a majority. I will consider your decision made at the time of the fourth vote, unless votes change around.

So now that we've reached a consensus on the kill, perhaps we should discuss the other happenings of the Day. I, for one, do not believe CIAS in the least, and think that he is the Vampire. An excellent play if the Vig buys it. I don't think we should target him because of that. I also think that if he really IS the detective, he might investigate me tonight. I'll come up as a Freemason, so that's a good thing.

He investigates bodies to determine who killed them - that's why it's such a dangerous role for us, since we'll be doing a lot of the killing I tend to believe brewha's claim and his outing of Darth as Cabal (despite what I just posted in the game). I would be totally ripsh*t at Darth if I was Cabal right now. It's too bad, though, I would have preferred we get Town or undead to Cabal for a lynch. On the assumption that Nanook really is a Witch, I think we should try to glean who his compadres are. I suspect they will be protecting him from now on, so we're going to have to find another to reduce their substantial power.

Err...hang on: I kill storytellerNow, I don't want to rain on everyone's parade, but what do we do if he survives? After all, there's a big number of roles he could have that would help him survive the Night and/or someone else could protect him.

There's not much we CAN do in that situation.
Just don't be the first to speculate on why he was killed. Classic scum tell.

I agree that Nanook is probably legit, but CIAS is not likely to be. I'll be interested to see what happens with him. I'll be willing to reconsider in a few days, but I predict he'll report failure tonight. brewha as coroner I would bet is about right or we'll know soon enough. Getting a Cabal who voted for themselves is pretty delicious. I hope that ends up being right. Strategy for tomorrow... I think we're doing pretty well staying divided up. Zsofia and Hal, since you've nearly concurrently voted for the same person late in the Day, be conscious that you may be targets later on... not sure a best route to distance yourselves from one another. I personally am going to be wary of CIAS, as I don't want to go down with him if he ends up being scum.

Drain Bead and I also were the only 2 votes on Oredigger for a while, which I was not happy with. But since I had already posted my suspicion of him, I felt like I had to vote for him after CIAS claimed. Since I stated several times in the game thread how minimal my case was against him, I will NOT be pushing hard for him toMorrow, unless he does something stupid that I can jump on Aside from just voting, I also think we're doing a decent job disagreeing with each other and staying on opposite sides of various issues. You and I had a fairly solid disagreement, fluid, and there were others. Good job, team.

EffDee, what's your name on the other board?
This relates to my strategy of "not remembering who the other wolves are".
Also, Pleo, if we edit here, are we modkilled?
Sorry, I've just been really curious.

You can edit here since you're all on the same team. Just be careful it doesn't lead you to slip in the SDMB game thread.

I know, I can't believe I got a vote - sweet little me? There was indeed discussion of us being too buddy buddy. That was a very intentional move on my part. brewha played that exactly as I hoped, saying that I was "defending" you, when it reality I was just pointing out that his reasoning for the vote was very weak (which I'd maintain that it was, even if I were town). Basically, I wanted more of a reason to call him out on his lack of logic there. Unfortunately, he's doing well as confirming himself as town.

So, anyone have any long-term strategies they'd like to toss out there? Any gambits anyone would like to propose?
